Bernadette Caulker of Beltsville, MD, was born on July 15, 1979. She battled Colon Cancer for about eighteen months only to succumb on Saturday September 20th 2008. She is survived by her Mother and Stepfather-Gladys & Francis Koroma; Brothers - Bernard Caulker & Richie Koroma; Sister-Aminata Koroma; Grandmother- Sophia Thompson; Grandfather- Oseh Macauley; Best Friend-Jalika Tucker and several Aunts and Uncles. Bernadette sleeps on and is now at peace after having endured a lot over the past year and a half. She was only three classes away from attaining her Masters in Social Work, from the University of Maryland. Bernadette was a young beautiful,intelligent,charismatic and engaging woman. She touched everyone she encountered with her warmth and compassion.
